What happens, if the trip has to be cancelled because of bad weather conditions?

Safety is our top priority. In the event of an issued weather alert — such as storms, heavy rain, strong winds, or extreme temperatures — we may need to postpone or cancel the tour to ensure the wellbeing of all participants.

How will I be notified?

If a cancellation or postponement becomes necessary, we will contact you no later than the morning of the excursion day by SMS or telephone. Please make sure the contact details provided at the time of booking are correct and that your phone is reachable on the day of the trip.

Postponement or cancellation — what are my options?

When we get in touch, we will discuss the best solution together with you. You will generally have the following options:

• Postponement: We reschedule the tour to a mutually agreed alternative date.

• Cancellation: The tour is cancelled entirely, at no cost to you.

What about my payment?

In the event of a weather-related cancellation, you will not incur any costs. Specifically:

• If you have not yet paid, no charge will be made.

• If you have paid in advance, we will refund the full amount. Refunds are typically processed using the same payment method used at the time of booking.

Please note: Weather-related cancellations are initiated solely by us based on official weather alerts. If you choose to cancel your booking yourself due to personal weather concerns, standard cancellation terms may apply. We recommend checking our general cancellation policy for details.

What if conditions change on the day?
In some cases, weather conditions can deteriorate unexpectedly during a tour. Our guides are trained to monitor conditions continuously and reserve the right to cut a trip short or alter the route if safety requires it. Please note that once a tour has started, no refunds can be issued, regardless of any changes to the route or duration. Our team will advise you on the best way to proceed.
